The study's problem was to verify the impact of the technical requirements for digital transformation in one of the faculties of the University of Zawiya, represented by the Faculty of Economics, and its effective contribution to promoting sustainable development. The study aimed to identify the impact of technical requirements on promoting sustainable development at the University of Zawiya, using the Faculty of Economics as a model. By knowing the reality of the availability of these requirements in the university with the aim of improving and enhancing sustainable development, this study relied on the descriptive analytical approach, by selecting a random sample representing the study community represented by the faculty members of the Faculty of Economics, and distributing the questionnaire to them as a tool for collecting data. The study concluded that the level of technical requirements for digital transformation is low. The results also showed a positive impact of the technical requirements for digital transformation in promoting sustainable development in its three dimensions. With the development and reliance on digital tools in universities, digital transformation is a driving force for achieving economic growth, contributing to community service, and protecting the environment and natural resources.
