Contributors Recognition Policy
The Journal of “Sustainable Research in the Humanities” is committed to ensuring transparency and accuracy in attributing scientific contributions. This is achieved through fair recognition of all individuals who have made substantial contributions to the research, in accordance with the principles of academic integrity and the publication ethics guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
1. Recognized Authors:
Each listed author must meet the following criteria:
-
A substantial contribution to the conception or design of the work, or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data.
-
Participation in drafting the manuscript or critically revising it for important intellectual content.
-
Final approval of the version to be published.
-
Accountability for the content of the work and assurance of its accuracy.
2. Non-Author Contributors:
Individuals or entities who provided technical support, language editing, data collection assistance, or financial support—but who do not meet the authorship criteria—may be acknowledged in the "Acknowledgements" section. The nature of their contributions must be clearly stated, and their written consent must be obtained prior to publication.
3. Order of Authors:
The order of authors’ names should reflect the magnitude and scope of their contributions. Authors are responsible for reaching a mutual agreement on the order of authorship prior to submission.
4. Changes to Authorship After Submission:
No addition, deletion, or rearrangement of authors’ names is allowed after submission unless a formal request is submitted, signed by all authors, explaining the reasons for the change. Such requests are subject to editorial approval.
5. Author Contributions Statement:
Upon submission, the journal requires authors to specify the role of each contributor to clarify individual responsibilities (e.g., study design, data analysis, drafting the manuscript, supervision, etc.).
