This study investigates the impact of strategic thinking and its dimensions on enhancing strategic agility
among administrative leaders at the General Administration of the Libyan Ports Company in Misrata. It
also examines the level of leaders’ practice of strategic thinking and the extent of strategic agility within
the administration. A descriptive methodology was employed, using a questionnaire distributed to all 57
administrative leaders, with 56 valid responses (98% response rate). Data were analyzed using SPSS.
Findings reveal that strategic thinking significantly enhances strategic agility, particularly through future
vision and strategic decision-making. While extensive experience supports strategic thinking, further
investment in specialized training is needed to strengthen innovation and organizational adaptability. The
study recommends establishing clear performance indicators to monitor and evaluate strategic agility
effectively, ensuring continuous improvement and prompt adjustments as needed.
